sometimes i see or hear comments about getting through bullying* makes you a stronger person. but it really doesn’t. i am so much weaker because people were mean to me. i haven’t stood up to anyone and i just run away from stuff.

any one who tells you that ignoring people who are being dicks to get a rise out of you works; it doesn’t. sadly smashing them to a pulp doesn’t either. so.

[*idk if it was bullying. I know I was a disgusting angry bastard and people wound me up until I hit them.

Then I tried to ignore them because I was told to and got followed halfway home having stuff chucked at my head trying not to cry after winding me up didn’t work. Because I was told to walk away when someone was trying to upset me.

I remember once getting punched in the stomach and I didn’t fight back (even though he wasn’t even to do with the main rubbish). I remember I was so so horrible. I remember mum telling me not to feel sad - to feel angry, but I just got angry and sad with myself.

And now at the first sign of trouble I clam up and leave and don’t speak.

tbf I’m slowly working around that BUT I guess I’ve been around way less people who’ve called me pathetic so y’know. I don’t know how I’d react if some dick joined drama club and him and all his mates were horrid to me. I can react to one with anger and mild disgust but idk I’m rambling no one cares]

interrupting maths revision for a very serious Doctor Who post.

the only thing I can think of for Clara to make sense, and it popped into my head the other day so now the important sense-making bit is gone, but it’s something really meta.

Which explains her inconsistent /lack of characterisation and why the Doctor is like ‘what is this mystery’ because it’s something outside the story itself and in our real world.

Because I can think of nothing else that could be as ‘game changing’ or live up to the hype of stuff than something like that.

I had the proper words and explanation in my head but the important bit went and now all i’m left with is Clara is a metaphor or something.

(also though it wouldnt be earth shattering in terms of universe wide catastrophe in the Doctor’s world, I thought maybe the Doctor was given a new name by the other Time Lords because of the Time War and it’s something mean like ‘Traitor’ so that’d be a big reveal and cause him lots of angst.)
